Canada Best Place To Escape Climate Change
Canada Best Place To Escape Climate Change
Due to a number of factors such as low population density with a lower impact on natural resources, excellent economy, an extensive amount of arable land, and more, Canada is ranked as the country that would be the least negatively impacted by a global climate change. picked by 2manyusernames 2 years ago

The map didn't include Greenland. I wonder if it was included in the study.

I think one of the reasons we're most equipped to deal with climate change is because the majority of our nation is a barren wasteland, and once the sea rises and most arable land is reduced to desert, the North will be a tolerable and attractive place to live.

That's because Greenland doesn't exist.

Greenland is a province of Denmark. It was granted self-ruling status, so I guess it is somewhere in between completing autonomous and simply being part of Denmark.

It also split from the EU even though Denmark is part of the EU.

I think Greenland will be submerged--it doesn't have much elevation.
Note: I'm a dork, I upvoted myself and then tried to clear it out and it won't go away without retaining the downvote.

I'll get over being downvoted, by myself, I'm sure.

Yeah, I tried. It goes to 0, until I refresh the page. It will allow me to remove it, eventually.

No worries. ;)

Given a chance to move to Canada or Florida for retirement.. I'd pick Canada in a second.
In the times I've spent there, I've had the pleasure to see beautiful country and meet friendly people.
And a side note.. Canada's sitting on 170 billion barrels of crude. That could come in handy in the coming years.

I thought all the mineral claims were ON all the aboriginal land claims. :P

I guess you're right though. The Canadian Government would *never* resell aboriginal land...

I'd argue that the national pastime is pond hockey, which requires nothing more than sticks, skates and a puck. It only requires heavy machinery and refrigerant when you guys want to play it, due to the lack of good ponds and outdoor rinks.

In addition, we're actually tickled that our snottiest female singer now lives in your country.
