An actor recorded a scream for a film, and afterwards it found its way into a sound archive. It was then to be used in many films and TV shows, including; The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Reservoir Dogs, The X-Files, Aladdin and Return of the King.
