Interesting yes, but if you want that quality of picture, use the regular camera. I wouldn't want my cell phone to be so cumbersome.

While I admire the ingenuity you lose more practicality. I agree with eljay, if you want a better image don't use the cell phone camera (even with the SLR lens), use a REAL camera.

Funny idea for an experiment. Though quite obviously not practical. Unfortunately I'm sure the image quality is still crap though. Takes more than good glass for a good image. Unfortunately cell phones do not get the highest quality imaging sensors.
