I worked years ago in the robotics industry as a mech designer. We worked on a major project for Moli Energy, a Japanese based battery manufacturer. After putting massive amounts of money into their project at our Canadian firm, building robots to handle their product, a battery exploded in someone's face in Japan and caused such a ripple that it took our company out of business. Big lawsuit I guess... who knows.
