Watching several Pimates step up mid-day today to fill in the gaps on missing FAF avatars so that no one was left out. At heart, we're a pretty decent bunch.

Made it to Colorado without problems, and walking up the ramp to the airport...the crisp air made me giggle almost maniacally.

Everyone is complaining about it...record cold. I'm wandering around in a sweatshirt. :D

I met Michael Douglas. Years ago when he split from his first wife (well, she kicked him out for sex addiction), he worked out at my Uncle's Gym and Fitness Center in Santa Barbara.

He's much shorter than what he looks like on screen.

Telling a friend about my promotion...then realizing I GOT A PROMOTION. It will be official next week but I am going to be known as the Director of Communication and Technology for my entire agency. And I get to set up our intranet. All by myself. It's mine. And I can't wait to get started.

I got a piano!

I saw a wonderful old upright piano on Craigslist yesterday for free. I called all over the place looking for help to get it, but I had no luck at all. I just resigned myself that that was that. :(

Well, a dear friend contacted the people behind my back and got a truck arraigned and a friend to help and surprised me this afternoon with it!!

Then to top it off, it's a player piano! That was a surprise, they didn't advertise that in the ad.

Steady on.

Gmail.

I've never come across this one before, but it's genius.

I was sending an email that was supposed to have an attachment but not entirely unpredictably had forgotten the actual attaching part of the process.

The email contained the words "Attached are the forms" and all I can surmise is that Gmail picked up on this because it stopped me from sending the email, asking me if I really wanted to send it without the attachment.

Actually, it made me shudder just a little bit too.

It's cool, but a little creepy.

I watched Zombie Strippers last night and loved it! 2 of the best things on the world, zombies and strippers.

We had a food fight tonight and threw trifle at each other. Maddie just kinda looked at us.



Then again she started it.

The color scheme in our new rental. Canary yellow, fluorescent orange, kermit the frog green.

I sense a week of painting in the very near future.
