I've mentioned before the great price I'd been paying for my dial-up internet (free), and that I wouldn't switch to highspeed until the day that they figured out I had a free account with them (I won't mention who they are, but my free account should have expired three years ago).
Last night I went to log on and got an error that read "invalid username". Uh-oh. Last time this happened I waiting 24 hours and tried again, finding it functioning just fine. I have a feeling it's really done this time, though. I'll know for sure when I get home for the night at like 4am; but I'm assuming my free dial up is over.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing, though; as I'll probably be getting some form of highspeed. Still, FREE was a great price that I will sorely miss paying.
Seriously, I thought my grandma was the only person that still had dial up and I am pretty sure that even she has recently switched to high speed (for her).
